Meet Elena

With over 20 years of legal experience, Elena is a dedicated attorney licensed to practice in both Iowa and Nebraska. She holds a degree from the University of Iowa and a law degree from Creighton University School of Law. Elena’s expertise extends to immigration courts across the U.S., including Puerto Rico.

Early in her career, Elena gained valuable experience clerking for the US Immigration and Naturalization Services, the Milton Abrahams Legal Clinic, and Justice for Our Neighbors. She then spent over 15 years at a private immigration law firm before transitioning to non-profit work in 2018. At the Women’s Center for Advancement, she represented survivors of abuse and trafficking, specializing in T and U visas, and VAWA self-petitions. Her commitment to helping vulnerable populations continued at the Immigrant Legal Center, where she focused on assisting unaccompanied minors.

Currently, Elena is part of the Reveiz Law Firm and collaborates with the Heart Ministry Center and the Catholic Diocese of Des Moines. She also volunteers at free legal clinics organized by the Iowa and Nebraska bar associations and accepts appointments from juvenile courts to represent children.

Elena’s offices are located in Omaha and Des Moines, and her practice is built on a foundation of compassion and dedication to her clients.
