Elena earned her J.D. in 2003 and is licensed in Nebraska, Iowa, the U.S. Immigration Court, the U.S. District Court for Nebraska, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has over 20 years of experience in immigration and family law, serving both in private practice and the nonprofit sector. A certified Guardian Ad Litem, Elena represents immigrant children in foster care and victims of trafficking and abuse. She serves on the Heart Ministry Center board and the Nebraska Supreme Court’s Committee on Equity and Fairness.
